1) complete sales and distribution process
2) how the procurement is taking place with respect to sales
3) how the production is taking place with respect to sales
4) what are the various business processes
5) any special sales/other scenarios
6) any interfaces
7) Overall business process
you may even take the help Question & Answer database of the ASAP methodology. However you need be judicious in asking only those questions which are relevant from the Q&A DB that in a way the client can understand. You might also need to put some questions additionally to understand his business process
