disp+work.exe in yellow!!

Hi,

I have recently installed SAP R/3 4.7 in Windows 2000 Server with SAP DB as database. When i try to client copy from 000, my system got shutdown. When i try to start SAP again, the dispwork.exe is in yellow and says, "dispwork.exe running but dialog queue standstill.

I searched for similar posts here... But i could not arrive at a solution.

Please help me....

run sap 2ee server administration usr / sap / j2ee/// configtool and run configtool.exe. (make sure your sapmmc is running already, let it be around 10 - 15 mins after you have started) doesnt matter if disp+work.exe is yellow.

now in the j2ee configtool window.. make the following changes.

select dispatcher (in some its global dispatcher) --- managers --- Threadmanager.

In the right side.. check Initialthread , Minthread n Maxthread... set them all to defaults.. except Minthread.. let it be around 30.

save changes and restart sapmmc.. the disp+work.exe will turn into green for sure but might take little time about 5 mins.

the concept becomes like.. better late than never.

Hi. As of note 578336 you have a problem with alignment, need correction is available for the following SAPDB DBSL-Libs:

- 620 patch level 511.

Also second problem:

The problem occurs if a transaction is executed on a secondary link between the opening and the use of the cursor, and was concluded with COMMIT/ROLLBACK.

The correction is available for the following SAPDB DBSL-Libs :

- 620 patch level 512.

As a result you need kernel patch:

620 patch level 512. Proceed as described in note 19466
