CNV_CHK_IMP in PREPARE phase while upgrading R/3 4.71 to ECC5

Hi,

when i am upgrading R/3 4.71 to ECC5 i am getting the below error at CNV_CHK_IMP in PREPARE phase :

PE0353ERROR: Outstanding DB conversions found.

All converter entries are listed in C:\usr\sap\put\log\TBATGCHK.LOG.

Proceed as described in the upgrade manual and repeat this phase

until all converter entries are removed.

In TBATGCHK.LOG i found this "CONV ENTRY TBATG ENQUESICNV 0CNVI 20080301DDIC"

If i click continue i am getting below error:

CHECKS AFTER PHASE CNV_CHK_IMP WERE NEGATIVE !!!

It is recommended that you repeat phase CNV_CHK_IMP

You can exit and restart the phase after the errors

have been corrected. Alternatively, if you know that

the error is not of concern, you may ignore it

and continue with phase ICNVCHK_IMP

i gone through this link ( )

in that thread i found this (The problem is with object ENQUESICNV. You can enter transaction code SE11 and activate the lock object "ESICNV" manually. After that you can repeat the Upgrade phase.)

when i am try ing to activate the lock object "ESICNV" manually its asking for Access keys, i dont have that key so is there any alternative soltion to avtivate this lock objects.

Hi,

giridhar, you actually need to clean up the DB Conversions. Please check the stage 7.10 of the upgrade guide Cleaning Up Terminated Conversation in the DB Conversion Phases.

If still it gives errors then we will have to look more into it. If the error is resolved you can reward me points
