Pl. tell me how to assign shioment cost profile to sales order type
so that we can explore extra -shipment cost menu option

Are you trying to bring Shipment Cost (freight) in Sales order?

Ok,
In SPRO go to LE- Transportation- shipment cost- Define profiles for shipment cost info.
Create a shipment cost info profile by entering the TPP, Shipment type and Pricing procedure of shipment cost.
Assign this profile in sales order type.under shipping tab "shipment cost info profile".
Make sure that all the transportation config and masters are maintained.
this should suffice.
