J2EE server not running

I have a ECC6.0 Server running in Unix machine with ABAP + Java instance

The j2ee server is not runing.

Please let me know of what log file i have to see to find the reason of the error

I am logging in as root.

I see that the followign file sizes are 0. the files are located in /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS02/work

jvm_dispatcher.o00

jvm_dispatcher.o01

jvm_dispatcher.out

jvm_server0.o00

jvm_server0.o01

jvm_server0.out

I have even tried starting the J2ee Server through SMICM, but did not work

Could you sort the files by date and time and check the latest updated file (in j2ee instance \work directory) ?

Also, has the engine ever worked before ? Could you check if you have all the profile parameters maintained correctly as per ntoe
