As we can assign Asset to a Purchase Order,can we assign the Asset to Sales Order.If not possible is their any other way of doing it.

Hi

Asset is some company have tangible things. Like stationary, stock etc. It can intangible like copyrights etc.

Now Purchase order or a sales order is just a demand to vendor or demand from customer of intent to purchase or buy. This is just a document and nothing more. Once the unit is physically received through PO GR, we do get assets in form of stock which is always steup at material management -- FICO level.

For SO, the asset is decreased in terms of stock and we get either in terms of cash, bank cheques, credit card payments etc (Account receivable) and hence AR asset increased.
