Hi Gurus,

I'm a new to BASIS. For training & testing purpose i need to install a SAP in my Notebook.

Pls advise what is the configuration need for SAP ECC 6.0 & Oracle.

I need the easy steps for installation & where we download the Software (SAP related CDs).

Hi,

if you want to Install ECC 6.0 IDES on windows/oracle

following is requirement.

HDD: 300 GB ( 220 GB is used by SAP database only )

RAM : 1 GB

CPU: 1.0 GHz or higher.

if you have user id password for service.sap.com you can download sap software form service.sap.com/swdc

if you laptop has enough HDD space for IDES ECC 6.0 ( 300 GB) than download following CD from service.sap.com/swdc

service.sap.com/swdc -> downloads -> SAP Installations & Upgrades -> Entry by Application Group -> SAP Application Components -> SAP ERP -> SAP ERP 2005 -> IDES Version -> Windows Server -> oracle ->

Download following CD

Installation master:

Kernel
