I would like to know when and what are the transactions used in populating the field “node” in Table QASR-Sample results for inspection characteristics.

It represents the MIC attached to each operation.
Hence when you create a insp lot and let us say you have 2 MIC's to two different operations then the entries are as below
Insp lot-Node-Operation-MIC
xxxxxx-00001-0000010-MIC1
xxxxxx-00002-0000010-MIC2
xxxxxx-00001-0000020-MIC1
This is updated once you create a insp lot.
