In IDoc to File Scenario
I need some info about R3 sys configurations step by step i know what is the procsess
1st we have to create LS (Tcode : SALE)
2nd we have to create RFC destination (TC : sm59)
3rd we have to create PORT (TC : we21)
4th we have to create PP (TC : we20)
5th we have to create DISTRIBUTION MODEL (TC : bd64)
i know this steps But i want step by step in that what we have ti give in LS , RFCDS, PORT, PP, DM
and how it process internally, what details we have to give in all configurations in that above transactions

Hi,
Follow below steps to create custom IDOC.
1.Create segments through transaction WE31.
2.Create IDoc Type through transaction WE30 by attaching created segments.
3.Message type through transaction WE81.
4.Link Idoc and message type in WE82 transaction.
Check the transaction WEDI for ALE settings

Hi,
1. logical sys we will give name and client number
2.rfc destination we have to give connection type 3 and Log on details and IP address.
3.Port we have to give rfc destiantion .
4.Partner profile select logical system type and provide Logial system name and outbound or inbound data,
5. In distrubution model create a model and genarate profiles and distrubute it

Hi Raj,
You mean the naming convenstions should follow for creating LS, Partner Profile, Port, RFC destionation.
Generally followed is for LS: --'SID'CLNT'Client number' for example DEVCLNT100 here dev is development system and client is 100. So, this again depends up on the client document for SAP Naming convenstions.
