tab setting problem

para graph settings having the tab settings .in tab settings have three tabs 1 ,2 ,3 with proper length (cm,tw etc...)

what is these tab 1,tab2 etc how it works,

how to allot the tab settings for tab1 ,tab2

ex:

paragraph: IL

tab1------1 cm

tab2 -

---

2.5cm

how to use tab1 and tab2 in the same paragraph?

what is the meaning for this.

Hi SS,

Tab 1,tab2 .....are used to give the spacing between the fields for displaying or printing in the form...

e.g. u have four fields A B C D

u want to have B to be printed 2 cm away from A ,C 5cm away from B...

then you have to give Tab 1 = 2cm

Tab 2 = 5cm

and dont forget to make changes in the code...

where u have given the fields....like&A& &B& &C&

here you have to write &A&,,&B&,,&C&

here first ,, means tab1

2nd ,, means tab 2 ....

like that you can use them....

for alignement u can also use the Right Left,Center while assigning values to Tab...
