Webservice returned with exception in method 'isConnectionLoopbackAlive'

Hello,

during monitoring of last 24 hours logs i found message:

<b>Webservice returned with exception in method 'isConnectionLoopbackAlive'

category: /Applications/CAF/KM

Application: sap.com/irj

Location:com.sap.portal.prt.cafkm.com.sap.caf.km.service.ConnectionTestService.isConnectionLookupAlive(String)

can anybody help me? what does it mean?

Hai,

Is SAP instance is connected to any sort of legacy systems like - file server,mail server, or any intranet services.

If so, the system is checking whether the connection is still alive or not......

Hi,

the SAP Instance not connected to any servers. I think that the reason in CAF application.

but how to check this.

Do you have this entry in your host file

127.0.0.1 localhost loopback

in unix /etc/hosts

in windows \WINDOWS\system__\drivers\etc
