How to extract .sca files

Hi every one,

During SP's deploy time i am faceing problems.

EG:SAPCAR -xvf /path/SAPBUILDT13_0-20000950.SCA

How to extract the .sca files..

Dear Seshu,

All SCA files are compered. Please try 7-ZIP File Manager to decompress. You can download the 7-ZIP file install on your machine and follow the below instruction.

.SCA files are like jar files, you have to open them using WINZIP like tools not SAPCAR.

Use SDM for this purpose. The How To Deply ExternalD rives fro JDBC and JMS describes this better than the Service Pack guides.

From Command prompt, you need to start the SDM in Standalone mode as detailed in this How to guide. Then open one more prompt for starting the SDM using remotegui.bat

Then youc an deploy the sca files comfortably.

I still could not open the files with winzip

Try out WinRar.

If you can't open it with WinRar, then probably the file is corrupted.
