Steps to configure printer

Hi,

I need to configure Printer for the SAP Server

Hi balaji,

First configure it in OS level.

secondly go to spad >in that output device>select display> in that select LP01(double click)>give device type as you want > device class as standeard printer> next in access method give __default(doubleunderscore followed by default word ) --> in host spool access method give f type:printing on front end computer .

Thats it. now you configured spool for your system.

Hi Balaji,

It pretty simple, First make sure that you have configured the printer at os level and system can identfiy the printer at os level

then go to spad and create lp01 and just select what type of printing you want like frontend printing or local printing.

If you select front end prinitng the you can take the print in any system where printer is configured.
