number range problem

i have maintained number ranges according to different plants, but the number in billing type is contradicting and when i post the accounts, the system prompting to enter the number range according to the number range maintained in the billing type

pl assist in solving this

Hi...

In the respective table maintain the combination of No range, Billing type and plant.

In SM 30 u maintain the relavent data.

yes i am using user exit of number ranges in billing, when i give different number ranges the number ranges given in the document type ie., RV is clashing

can you please where does this have relation ie., billing type to documen ttype what will i have to do

Dear

I think in the user exit please give the reference of the plant and the billing type and maintain all these in the Z table in the user exit.Maintain this table in SM30.
