How to extract look-up table fields for reporting?

We have a GDS product repository and we would like to be able to report on some data :- for example we would like to to extract two fields "Start availability date" & "Ordering unit indicator". These are held on a lookup table (Partner specific data). How to export those fields to an external file e.g. Excel for manipulation/reporting purposes?

The GDS console doesn't have much in the way of reporting tools.

Hi Caroline,

If I got you correct,You want to know how to export a lookup up table values along with the field names.

This can be achieved by using the Export option in MDM data Manager.

File->Export->Excel->

you can select the fields you want to export .

This process will hardly take you any time if the number of records in MDM are few and the number of fields are also not to many.
