what do you mean by BY-pass mode? can you explain in brief

I mean we have a tray in HP printers called by pass tray.I'ld like to send my SAP output print to that by pass tray . Got my point!

check Note 143375 - Choice of paper tray for printing lists as of Release 4.5
also check SPAD -> select your printer ( output device) check under output attributes and tray info tab.
you can also try following
make by pass tray as default tray where printer is installed.
