Transport from ECC5 or ECC6 non Unicode to ECC6 Unicode

Hi All,

Sorry for asking this kind of question but I would like to know if it's possible to transport orders :

- from ECC 5 (Non Unicode) to ECC 6 (Unicode) system ?

- from ECC 6 (Non Unicode) to ECC 6 (Unicode) system ?

Hello Duarte,

Yes it is possible. Though ideally such systems should not be in the same landscape but you can make use of data and co-files. I have done it myself several times.

Dear Sir,

I have to import data and cofile generated on Non-Unicode ECC 6.0 to Unicode System ECC 6.0.

while Importing I am getting following errors

Programm SAPLZPM_STVATFG: Syntaxfehler Zeile 000000

The program 'SAPLZPM_STVATFG' is not Unicode-compatible, according to its program attributes.

Programm SAPLZPM_STVATTM: Syntaxfehler Zeile 000000

The program 'SAPLZPM_STVATTM' is not Unicode-compatible, according to its program attributes.

Programm MZPM_FORMISSUEDF01: Syntaxfehler Zeile 000000

The program 'MZPM_FORMISSUEDF01' is not Unicode-compatible, according to its program attributes.

Programm SAPMZPM_BOOKMAINT: Syntaxfehler Zeile 000000

The program 'SAPMZPM_BOOKMAINT' is not Unicode-compatible, according to its program attributes.

Please guide me steps.

Note: Both systems are in different landscape.

Unicode copatible is a setting one can alter before (preferred) or after the transport in SE38, call the program and select the radiobutton "properties". In the next window there's a "unicode" box you  can "tick" in the lower left corner, see:

from these notes there are not with transport between release ECC5 and ECC6. Do you know if it is posible?
