Hi All,

2. BPE and IE are on Abap Engine?
3. CPA_cache refreshes objects of IR and ID present in
Java Engine?
4, SXI_CACHE refreshes objects of IR and ID present in
Abap Engine?

Java Engine?
CPA Chache works on Adapters of Integation Directory

Hi All
1. CPA Cache works on Adapters of Integation Directory
So it means it refreshes Adapters and it lies on
J2EE engine as Adapters lies on J2EE Engine.
-- Am I corrcet?
J2EE engine components : SLD, IR, ID, RWB, AE, Mapping Runtime and CPA_cache.
ABAP engine components : BPE, IE and SXI_CACHE.
2. Since SXI_CACHE lies on Abap Engine so how it activate
objects like IR and ID since IR and ID lie on Java Engine
as explained above by you guys.Pls explain
Regards
.
Hi Rider,
As name suggests, SXI_Cache is nothing but cache memory which resides on ABAP stack.
Your answer lies within your question.
Integration Engine( ABAP stack) uses the data from both IR(JAVA and ID(JAVA).
It cannot go everytime to database to collect the deatils of interfaces, mapping etc.
So, when objects got activated, they are put in SXI__cache automatically.( BOth IE and SXI_Cache resides on abap stack. communication is faster and performance increases)
But due to some technical problems, if it doesn't get reflected in SXI_cache, they have given option to manually refresh the cache.
And how data goes from ID ond IR to SXI_Cahe is again through Jco Connector.
Hope this helps.

Piyush
Please Reward points if useful:)
Hi Piyush,
I got it now.
Objects are created in IR and ID (Java Stack)
Sxi_Cache -- Abap Stack
As soon as Objects (IR(Java Stack) and ID (Java Stack) )are activated they are put in Sxi_Cache(Abap Stack) as they are required by IE (Abap Stack) for processing.
CPA Cache -- Java Stack
It is mainly used for Adapters (Java Stack)
Pls confirm and I will reward you points.

Hi Piyush,
Full points and thanks.
Need to ask last question.
I made changes in my Integration Directory.
I run the scenario. Changes are not reflected in sxmb_moni.
I do SXI_cache, CPA Cache and then again run scenario.
Changes are reflected.
What to do so that I do not have to do SXI_cache, CPA Cache again to get my changes reflected.

Hi Rider,
There are some configuration settings which your basis guy can do.
I'm not much familiar with these settings.
And also ,with XI 3.0 this problem existed with some particular Service Pack. Also I don't remember the service pack.
Sorry, this time
You can probably create a new thread and some config/basis expert would help you.

Piyush
yes rider u know the answers.
Thanks & Regards,
Rama Krishna
