SSO with logon ticket between EP7 and R3

Dear all,

I configure SSO with logon ticket between EP7 and R3.

In the ITS instance , i had already added the ~mysapcomusesso2cookie 1 in the global.srvc.

I test it through portal "system adm. -> support -> SAP Application -> SAP Transaction ".

If i select "sap gui for window" in the SAP GUI Type, it can run smoothly.

But i select "sap gui for html" , it ask me input user name and password.

So, i thank it is ITS configuration problem.

Could anyone help me ?

did you maintain ITS host (with FQDN) path details in the system alias?

Hi Durairaj Athavan Raja,

I maintain ITS host and the ITS connection test result shows OK in my EP.

But SSO with SAP GUI for HTML still not work, it request me input userID and password again.

is ITS details as maintained with FQDN (i.e itshost.domain.com or simply itshost:port ?)

are you logged on to portal using FQDN url (portalhost.domain.com or portalhost:port?

The problem is i logon EP with portalhost:port.

If i logon EP with portalhost.domain.com , ITS can run.

Wenjr,

I think you don't have permissions for the backend system. Check with roles and user for the backend system.

Hi Venkat,

I assign SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW to my user ID,and I can SSO to backend system by SAP GUI for Windows.

But it still can't SSO to backend system by SAP GUI for HTML.

Do you have any idea about this issue?
