The following are the steps taken for applying the license
in the service market place.
1. Clicked on the New System button in the market place.
2. entered the following details :
System ID : E23
System name: EPDQ001
System type : Development system
SAP product : SAPnetweaver
Product version : SAP Netweaver 7.0
Under technical usage type : Appliation Server Java, Development Infrastructure,
EP,EP core ( options i have selected )
Database : Oracle
Operating system: NT/Intel
productive date =
Request Type = Standard,J2EE_engine
CLICK ON Continue button.
Hardware key : entered the hardware key
Requet type : J2ee Engine
I have selected these options and applied for License in the market place and applyed the
license i got through visual admin.
Java Engine trurns Red after every thirty minutes, could any one tell me whether
it is the right way to apply in the market place.

The behavior of stopping after 30min is a clear indication for non-valid license. Please make sure your license key is correct.

Please refer to SAP note 870871 and make sure you are following the instructions.
Please also refer to SAP note 731673 for error analysis.
If that doesn't work, please paste the exception from defaultrace file over here.

can you try
SAP product : SAPWebAs
and maybe after that if it doesnot work then,
System name as empty...
the way u doing is correct.
