Hi,
If u want to know about the interface is inbound or outbound if the system is SAP then.
If data is coming fromSAP then it is called as OUTBOUND scenario or interface.
If data is going to SAP then it is caled as INBOUND scenario or interface.
In XI system if u want to know about the Message interface Outbound or Inbound then.
If data coming fromOther system to XI then it is called Outbound.
If the data is going out from XI then it is called as Inbound.

Phani

hi abhsishek,
from XI perspective inbound is incoming messages i.e from sender
outbound is outgoig messages theat is to receiever.
but when u create scenarios in XI there u specify outbound and inbound options for interfaces and channles.
this is from XI perspective especially xi queues
inbound queues and outbound queues.
when u develop scenarios
outbound is outgoing i.e sender
inbound is receiving i.e receiver

Hi Mishra,
Outbound: for XI .it is going out from XI server ,usually which is sender message .
Sender Adapter is converting sender data format to XML..
same vice versa for Indound..
