I have been asked by my management how SAP numbers their notes. Does anyone know SAP’s procedure?

Why bother with SAP notes numbering. Do you mind about the number of receipt you get? A SAP note is like that... sequential numbering.

It's just a pointer, there is no Significance behind the number, besides the fact that the larger the number, the newer the note.
