Mass deletion of Quality Inspection types

Hi Gurus,

I just want to delete a particular quality inspection type for about 5000 materials.

I checked in MM17, but there was no table relevant for Quality inspection available.

In QA08 - we can able to only activate and deactivate inspection type for materials and not possible to delete inpsection types from material master.

Anyone came across this problem,

Please help me out,

Hi

The procedure given by Arun is ok with QA08.

But there is a prerequisite forthis.

To deactivate QM for any material , there should not be any QM stock for this material.

Pl. see that all the quality stock should be taken out first.

Issue solved. I used QA08 and selected mass inspection processing tab and it deleted and refreshed with new data

Hi,

For mass deletion of Insp type in matl master , Either you have to write a prog for the same or you can do in the QMAT table if you have access for the same.
