Maintaining prices for direct products

Hello,

I hope anyone can give me a solution for the next problem. We are implementing SRM with extended classic scenario and we use SRM-MDM as catalogue. In the SRM-MDM catalogue we maintain the prices of direct and indirect products.

For the direct materials we run a MRP on our ECC backend system, the requisitions of the MRP we will be transferred to the SRM system. How can I arrange that during the sourcing the products automatically get the price from the SRM-MDM catalogue (we use a vendor list).

Hello-

I have not had your exact scenario but you might want to check the option for catalogs in the defintion under "Additional Functions in the Product Catalog" and choose "Validate Product Data from SAP Enterprise Buyer"

This can be used to force re-validation of catalog data including price, I assume this function is automatically supported by SRM-MDM catalog - but I could be wrong on that.

At least it something you should investigate.
