how should logs and traces be implemented under CE? I have defined a dependency for my DC to the DC "tc/logging". It works, but the DC /tc/logging" is marked as "deprecated". What should I use instead?
You should use tc/bl/logging/api for the build time. For the runtime you don't need to reference anything, it'll be available to your application automatically.
