can anyone tell about tha different types for connection to Integration server.

There are various options for connecting systems to the Integration Server and these are summarized under the heading Connectivity:
● Proxies encapsulate the creation or parsing of XML messages and the communication with the relevant runtime components required to send or receive the messages. See: Proxy Runtime.
● The Adapter Engine provides adapters for connecting external systems.
The plain J2SE Adapter Engine (J2SE) enables you to exchange messages with J2SE-based external systems.
● The configuration of the adapters provided is described in Adapters.
● SAP Conversion Agent by Informatica allows you to convert unstructured and semi-structured data to and from XML. Data conversion can be triggered by an adapter module.
● The Partner Connectivity Kit (PCK) enables business partners that do not have SAP XI to exchange messages with you. It also contains information about developing your own adapters or modules in the module processor. See also: Adapter and Module Development

We can have the URL for IS in SLD and in SXMB_ADM also
this URL points to IS only
