Sample Procedure

Hi all,

I have a problem with sampling procedure.

I'm using inspection type 04.

The FG checked using material specification and i put the sampling procedure fix5-0.

But this procedure is not working. When I GR 10 pc, the sample quantity is 10 also..

Could anybody help me?? What am i missing in the setting..

It is difficult to tell you why your sample size is 10. We have no idea what your sampling procedure Fix5-0 means or specifies. Also, is this used for all the characteristics?

Do you have any qualitative results? These usually need different sampling procedures then quantitative tests.

Do you have 100% inspection turned on in the inspection type setup in the material master? This should be off if you want the sampling procedure to calculate the sample size.

Hi,

if the system doent not able to determine the sample size it assumes the lot quantity as your sample quantity so you are getting all 10 as your sample size.check your sampling procedure adn whether it got assigned to all characteristics.

It looks like 100% inspection is checked in as the other member suggested.Goto MM02 and verify this .Please get back if thats the case.
