Alert notifications for synchronous interfaces

Hello Experts,

We have configured the Alert notification on our XI system. We have created two Alert Categories (one for IE errors other for AE errors), and created two Alert Rules (the same - one for IE errors other for AE errors).

We are receiving notifications if there is a reciever determination errors, mapping errors, errors in AE on sender side.

But we have found at least two cases when we didn't recieve any Alert notification:

- when error happens in AE on RECEIVER side (for example if target FTP server is down)

- when error happens in IE during SYNC call (actully this are also AE errors, when synchronously calling remote system which is down)

Do you know how to make Alerts to work in mentioned cases?

Hi,

Have u given the Sender and receiver details while creating the Alert Rules,If u give only sender then it will display only sender side error details only.

Thanks for your answer.

We have putted "*" to all fields for AE Alert rule (the same for the IE Alert rule), but it is not working for Receiver side AE errors.

Any other ideas?

Hi,

Dont give * init ,Give the sender and receiver details and try to execute it.

check some links on Alerts.

But is there any configuration to receive notifications about all errors, not just for some specific sender and receiver?
