Hey there,
I don´t find an answer to the question, what the queues in SMQ1 (in a XI 3.0 environemt) are used for.
... what I found out is, that it must have to do with integration-processes. Maybe the messages are stored there before triggering the mapping ???
Hope one of you can help me!
Thx in advance!
Oliver
Hi,
When we use EOIO service in the sender communication channels you have a field called "Queue ID". When you fill this the data will be send via QRFC which means that all the messages are queued. If there is an error all the remaining messages are stopped in the queue. You can view the status of these queues in SMQ1 and SMQ2. You have queue management in XI as well as the R3 servers.

Hi,
· SMQ1
1. qRFC Monitor for the outbound queue.
You use this transaction to monitor the status of the LUWs in SM13 in the outbound queue
2. Restart any hanging queues manually.

smq1 is for outbound queues.
smq2 for inbound queues.
when a message comes in to XI server it will be handled by integration engine and adapter engine.
queues used by integration engine are SMQ1 and SMQ2
messages arrived in SMQ2 is for inbound processing by XI integration engine
message in SMQ1 are messages handled to receiver or say adapter engine exactly.
Thanks & Regards,
