Serial Number Management

Dear All,

i have a scenario where in i need to attach the serial number to the stock.

Example: I have a stock of FG (Finished Goods) 10 quantities. Right now these are not serialised. Now I want to assign serial number to this stock material.

Is there any way i can use serial number for my stock material?

Hi

A serial number profile has to be created in SPRO>Basic Functions>Determine serial number profiles and assign the serial number profile in the material master of the material. Create serial numbers for the material in IQ01.

We can create the serial number with valuation type manually using the transaction code "IQ01" for agiven material
