"Maintain Order At Runtime" does not work

Hi XI Geeks,

I am trying to use the new feature of Interface Determincation. The documentaion says that the interfaces will be executed in an order which you specify in Interface Determination.

But ironic thing is I am not seeing any affect of the check box and the interfaces are running in a random order. We are on SP14.

But if it works its really a good feature..

Any suggestions ideas are welcome..

Thanks in advance

Just

Sujan

I'm having the same problem. I fetch a single message in a text file with file adapter, convert it to XML, split into three separate messages with different interfaces. All go to the same receiver, but map into different IDOCs, one of which should be processed and sent first. The interface determination has "Maintain Order At Runtime" checked, and the receiver IDOC adapter has "Queue processing" checked as well.

Message trace shows that the interfaces are determined at the correct order, but they are processed in different order (seemingly alphabetical, can't say for sure with this small sample).

I have had this problem with SP14&15.
