Sender FTP Error

Hello

I am trying to read file from FTP using File Sender Adapter

configuration of adapter is

Data Connection : Active

Connect Mode : Per file transfer

I am getting the following error

Error occurred while connecting to the FTP server "vlpzip.zim.com:21": java.net.NoRouteToHostException: No route to host: connect

Any1 solved that issue ?

Make sure that ur FTP server is not behind the firewall. If it is, then open the port for it

I succeded taking the file with cli commands

any other ideas?

how about network proxy settings?

Please check in transaction os01 on your XI machine if you are able to ping that server.

HI,

This problem raised due to failure of connection to the Host. Please can you check it out that you are able to ping to the related host successfully. Try to go on command prompt and use command

C:\>ping <hostname>

Hi,

Make sure that you have provided the correct Host name or IP of the FTP Server

One of the following may be the reason for that

1) Make sure that Adapter is Active at both in Adapter in ID and in RWB of CC

2) Make sure abt the User name and the Pwd,

3) Make sure that you have un-checked the box and provided the user and pwd in CC, if the FTP folder is having the Authentication

Hi,

First try to contect with other FTP client to that address vlpzip.zim.com on port 21.
