I am new to XI, can anybody help me with a step by step guide for HTTP to File asynchronous or file to http asynchronous scenario.

Refer to the below blog for HTTP-to-RFC(here in your case u can use a file adapter instead of RFC).

Create HTTP Outbound interface as Async adn File inbound as Async
