Software Logistics of SWCV

According to SAP documentation - importing SWCV into the Repository is only possible with SAP PI 7.0 .

I have imported a SWCV from SAP XI 3.0 into another XI 3.0 from another SLD.

All the IR objects are locked for changes.

Is there a reason for that?

How is it possible to resolve the issue ( SAP standard) with no "quick&dirty"

Solutions like copy the imported objects inside the IR under a new object name.

Appreciate your ideas.

Hi,

Double click on the SWCV in IR and Make sure that u have selected the check boxes Objects are in Original and Objects are modifiable

Do you mean before exporting the SWC from the source XI or before importing into the target XI?

Hi,

Make sure that at both the cases

You can open(Double click) the SWCV in IR after Importing into to the new system then do the above said things and save it
