Hi all,

I trying to show the CNY '¥' symbol in front of the amount, it can show correctly in screen, but when I print it, it show as '#'. I tried to change the font to CNSONG, but still not working.

The '¥' symbol can print correctly in Words.

Regards

Li

With LOCL Front end printing you apply wrong font settings. There are several SAP notes about the windows fonts issue.

You have three options:

- Use a printer that has the fonts (direct printing)

- Use a font dimm for your printer model (direct printing)

- Install on the print server the new SAPSPRINT and in SAP device type ZHANWIN (printer access method S)

The last solution works very nice.

Hi Volker,

May I ask the detail setting for the SAP device type ZHANWIN ??

I propose checking SAP OSS for that.

Please remember that we implemented in combination with SAPSPRINT.

The logic is that the SAPSPRINT application on the server understands the font conversion from SAP via that device type !

I am sure SAP Help also has answers about this.

Hi Li,

Check if the printer you are using to print has the font assigned to it.You can do this in SPAD transaction.

Thanks,

I work with Kwok Hung Li; they are using Windows Frontend printing (LOCL) so there is no font assigned. I just checked to make certain.
