Running Configuration Wizard.

Step executing is: Configuration and Mirroring of local NWDS Update Site.

I keep getting message similar to this

Dear all,

the UpdateSite feature is an additional deployment - so please check first if you have deployed this additional deployment (that the ear is missing indicates that it is not deployed - i am also not sure if this is part of standard/trial delivery).

Is there a guide which describes that you have to executed the configuration task for the NWDS UpdateSite? If yes can you post it here that we can check? Not running successfully this task should do no harm to your CE installation, as the feature at all is not deployed on your system.

Ok. This clarifies things. As we both did a trial installation from sdn, it might just be that this feature is simply not available.

So what do you think what shall we do? Did you have any luck in finding anything at all about this?

I'm banging my head against a wall of uncertainty here and this is slightly frustating - to say the least.

Ok, you got a point here. So this is what I'm doing:

Installation of CE 7.1 SP3 Full development from the SDN.

Installation of CE and ESR for CE and ADS for CE all went fione.

After installation I ran the configuration wizard and this is the error I receive when executing the Step

Configuration and Mirroring of local NWDS Update Site

Error: Invoked component sap.com/updatesite_ctc_ear is not found. The reason for this error is either an undeployed library/application or a non-started application.

I cannot even tell, where to find that bl... application.

What about you Sim?
