Error while opening the file in Background job in Virsa.

We are using Virsa 5.2

I click on the result tab to view the job results.(informer->Background job) I am getting this message.

I have a client who is now getting the same errors.

Was this issue ever identifed and a fix found?

The cluster was the issue with this.

VIRSA_CONFIG table needs to be modified for the spool file location, including the server name as local server.

Have you tried to access BGjob from Config tab.Is this happening once you press search button and do u specify anything on jobid. This looks like missing spool on jobid might be deleted from the frontend or backend. Better you specify some old jobid and press search at the end of the job list grid you might notice a little button called view log. This could give some detail about what happened to your system recently.

Hi Pranav,

Try with specific values while searching, you must exclude the chances of pulling the JOBID which is giving trouble. My best guess is somehow between the backend and frontend the detail for this specific ID might be corrupted.

Reward points if this helps, if you need more info to check this issue look at the system log level.
