HOW TO SEND INFREC

Former Member

Hi All,

We have to Send the inforecord details to the POS system using message type INFREC.

1. We have activated message type in BD50.

2. We have included this message type in the Port settings. ie in WE20.

3. We have also maintained the Distribution model. ie in BD64.

Now Outbound idoc is not getting genareted in WPMI.

How should we trigger the out bound idoc.

Is there any separate transaction. (similar to BD14 for vendors)

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

Shakthi.

Hello,

Message type INFREC does not seem to have any standard process code and function to create outbound IDOCs. However, INFREC has both inbound process code (INFR) and inbound function (IDOC_INPUT_INFREC). Probably, you have to create custom program with the help of function MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE.

Not sure why you want to Purchase Price information to POS.

Thanks,

Venu

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

Why we need this details is that...

Stores are authorised to do direct procurement.

This purchase information comes to SAP through PORDCR102. So we have to send the ARTICLE / VENDOR / SITE link to the POS. Purchase price is not must. But the link details are needed. So we are trying to use this.

Is there anyother way of doing this ?

Shakthi.

Hello,

Hope you are sending Article attributes to POS daily using message type ARTMAS or WBBDLD. You may extend this IDOC type and send the Vendor/Article/Site and Purchase Price information.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

You can trigger the out bound idoc with ME18 or RBDSEINF.

Hi,

I have to test the FM IDOC_INPUT_INFREC. Now I use ME18 or RBDSEINF, but the Mass-IDoc with Type INFRECMASS01 gets created. This IDoc Type cannot be processed by the FM IDOC_INPUT_INFREC, that requests the type: INFREC01.

How can I create an IDoc of Type INFREC01?

Thanks,

Manuel

Hi

very strange. If I start the RBDSEINF, it will create a nice INFREC01 IDOC.

Can you have a look at table TBDME for type INFREC ?

regards

B

In WE20 you have the option to choose INFREC01 or INFRECMASS01.  Maybe this was the problem.
