Reteurn Stock from customer

Dear All

After posting the return delivery and goods recipet (the stock is posting in to movement type 651) and not available in the unrestricted use stock, then how to make these stock to use as unrestricted use and saleable to other customers.

Please give the soluation for this problem, its top urgent.

Hi

Generally in return orders when the unit is received, according to best practices it cant lie at same storage location as the saleable one. Hence we may define new SLoc.

Now after propoer inspections if the unit is still saleable then one authorized person can do Sloc to Sloc movement in same plant and then it can be used for fulfill new orders.

This can be done using tcode MB1B and movement 311.

u can use t.code MB1B and movement type 312 to transfer stock from restricted use to unrestricted with same or different storage location.

Try this ,i think it will do.

Hi,

When the Customer returns the Goods, It will come into our plant through 651 movement type and it will be in returns not in the Unrestricted stock.

We have to transfer that using MB1B or MIGO using movement type 453

Hi

If your requirement is to post the returns stocks directly into unrestricted use(where the returns doesn't require any quality inspection) you should use the Movement type 653 instead of 651, which posts the stock in unrestricted use.

In standard, for returns, the movement type would be 655 which means the returned stock would be transferred to Quality stock.

But if you want this returned stock to flow in "Unrestricted", go to VOV6, select your schedule line category for "Returns". Here maintain movement type 653.

Hi Mohmmed,

The Schedule line category controls the Movement type. Currently in the Returns Schedule line category movement type 651 has been maintained. For your requirement use movement type 653 in the schedule line category. Alternatively use T-code VOV6.

But ideally the same should go into Returns stock by using movement type 651 (which you have currently mapped). and after checking of material by quality dept the same can be taken into unrestricted stock using T-code MB1B and using movement type as 453 -Transfer posting to own stock from returns from customer.

Goto MB1B - transfer posting ....

459 - returns to blocked

then

343 - blocked to unrestricted

or try it as

453 movt type - to own stock from customer returns

Hi,

The stock will be shown as per the movement type.. may the stock will go to return, blocked or unrestricted directly...

You need to do Transfer posting to change from one stock to other...

T Code : MIGO..

select Transfer posting...

and select Moment type as you required say XXX for customer return to unrestricted
