Do u have IMAGING Software.
you can convert BMP to TIFF in that software.
if u r image is in BMP you can upload directly that image.

but how can we upload a *.til successfully. Since it's the version problem , share me the convert software name .

you should not change extention directly from bmp to tiff.
edit with paint and save as--
savel as type : TIFF
save it.

TIFF format error: No baseline TIFF 6.0 file
hi..!
am also getting the same problem !
when i created a .tif file
and when am uploading using RSTXLDMC prgm.
am getting the same error like baseline.
so in some cases it works when we create a tif file.
if u convert the .BMP file to .tf also it doesn't works.
it coz of resolution problem.
am also worked with script and uploaded a tif file.
but that file is Original tif format file.
i didnt convert bmp to tif.
for that particular file am uploading.
even if created a tif its not wroking..!
Thanks & Regard,
Rajsh
Hi,
ADDING IMAGES TO THE FORM:
-
Create a .bmp file and save it in a directory
-> Goto SE78 Tcode -> Double click BMAP Bitmap images
-> Click on Import icon from appn. toolbar -> Opens an interface -> Specify the path of .bmp file from the OS -> Specify the name for the image -> Select Color bitmap image radiobutton -> Click on Continue -> Image is imported.
To add the imported image into the form, right click on the form layout
-> Select Create Graphic -> Opens an interface
-> Select image from the form directory
-> Select Color bitmap image radiobutton
-> Specify resolution as 100 -> Continue
-> An image is added to the script.
Simply call the form from the print program.
To upload .TIFF files into the SAPscript directory, make use of a predefined executable program called as RSTXLDMC.
In SE38 Tcode, specify the above name, click on execute pushbutton from application toolbar -> Opens an interface -> Specify the file path -> Execute.
Text Elements in the line editor are used to avoid data duplication.

Priya.

Try the following steps,,
Tcode SE78 --> Form Graphics --> Stored on Document Server --> double click on BMAP Bitmap Images -- > Press F5 button or Import --> select the bmp file from your desktop or local machine in the save as section give some name "LOGO". do not give extension in the save as section, --> give some short description --> check the appropriate type, color or black and white.
This should usually import the .bmp files in the application servers.
or else the second option is to upload the .tiff files.
You can convert the same existing bmp file to tiff.. Open the bmp file, File--> Save as and select the type as tiff and give some name .
Go to SE38 > Give the program name as RSTXLDMC> F8(execute)--> Again execute, it will ask you to for the tiff file location, specify the file, that will import your tiff file in your application server.
let me know if you are still experiencing issues.
if found useful, don't forget to reward points.
Thanks-
Shrikant

hi,
if ur doing it for scripts, the scripts mainly support .tiff files. so try with .tiff extension than .bmp files.

hi all ,
thanks for your answers.
yes i am doing it for the script . so do i just need the change the file extension to .tif and then use the same way to upload the file ?
another question , if the graphic file was uploaded successfully , which is the defalult floder to store the file ?
regards.
hi,
First save the file as .bmp and then use se78 to transfer the file from presemntation srv to application srv.
Thanks
