Reg: Message error in Creating Sales Order

Hi Gurus,

While creating sales order in VA01 I am getting the error as

No item category available (Table T184 OR NORM )

Message no. V1320

Diagnosis

No item category could be determined for the combination OR NORM .

System Response

The system does not allow further processing of this item.

Procedure

Check the entries in table T184 by means of which item category determination is controlled.

If you do not have the authorization to do this yourself, contact your system administrator.

How to proceed?

Maintain item category determination..

go to T code VOV4...

new entries

OR - NORM - - -

maintain this.. your problem solved

for standard sales order OR and item category group of the material master NORM there is no requirement to do the item category determination. it will be there by default.

do it for the

sales document (OR) +

Item cat. group (material master sales org 2 view) (NORM)

-- > Item Category (TAN )

Hi,

First determine the item category i.e. do the item categoery determination first.

Transaction code is vov4.

or + Norm give default category as tan and manual category whatever u want except tan..

ur problem will be solved.
