currently ECC 6.0 is available and solution manager 4.0 is being used.
However please let us know the context of the question so that we can throw light may be.

Most of the Client are either on ECC 5.00 or R/3 4.7. But some of the client are on latest available version of ECC 6.00, which is the latest version available in market currently.

The current version is SAP ECC 6.0 version. This is 2 generations ahead of SAP R/3 4.70
