hi,

implementation guide is where you do all the configs and where as the endusers use the easy access.

whether SD or FI irrespective of the module, all the configs are done here.

No. IMG simply means configuration. It is done by SAP consultants only.

hello, friend.

IMG (Implementation Guide) you can find when in Easy Access, you take the path Tools > Customizing > IMG.

it is in IMG is where you make the configuration in not only SD but in all modules. when the project Gos - Live, the IMG in PROD is rendered not modifiable. changes can only be done (recommended) via Transport Requests.
