Reg - Regorganize the Database - Parameter?????

Hi,

What are the parameters given to reorganize the database (DB2)?

I try this parameter in online...

RGZPFM FILE(R3PDEVDATA/COSS) MBR(FIRST) KEYFILE(FILE) ALWCANCEL(NO) LOCK(SHRUPD) RBDACCPTH(*YES);

But there is no difference in database. Same percentage...

I need to reorganize the database in DEV. Last week i removed one client in DEV but the % is not reduce..

Pls explain detail.. How to reorganize?

Meanwhile R3"PDEV"DATA doesn't look like standard R3<SID>DATA name...

I believe Kaushal already answered the qiestion...

Try Note 84081 - Reorganization of database tables (RGZPFM)...

What you are trying to run :

RGZPFM FILE(R3PDEVDATA/COSS) MBR(FIRST) KEYFILE(FILE) ALWCANCEL(NO) LOCK(SHRUPD) RBDACCPTH(*YES);

is related to an archiving issue submitted sometime earlier or something like that..

COSS probably is not the table you want to reorg...

If you want to do this online reorg...first check in DB02 for deleted table analysis and see which ones are the ones with largest number of deleted records and size as well...

I will still say use the program attached to Note 84081 - Reorganization of database tables (RGZPFM)...

Then you can pass the any table with a minimum threshold of deleted records...much easier..

Just copy paste the program from the note and run it in bacth or online...easy..
