Hi ,

while copying wsdl and xsd file from webpage ,.i mean from internet explorer, you are also copying '-' at the start of each line of wsdl and xsd file. You need to remove '-' character and then save it as file. You are getting errro because of this reason only.

Ranjeet,

I am not directly copying from website.

when I clicked on view source, wsdl is displayed without "-"

thanks anyways,

Nikhil

hi nikhil,

in the browser -> choose view source , it will open the source in any standard editor. Do save as and put extension as WSDL.

Right click on the webpage, go to view source and copy it to your local as a .wsdl file. Import it to your External definations and you are good to go. !!

hi nikil,

hopw u r working with webservice scenario in XI.

when u try to import saved WSDL file in XI see that all the namepaces are in http:
protocol.

when u publish RFC as webservice we ll find namespaces as URN:
which is not acceptable.

we tried to work with WSDL published by peoplesoft and found namespace problem

best solution is just publish a interface of XI and compare that wsdl with the one you are trying to import

syntax i mean
