Log Configuration problems

I added a log configuration xml file to my Web Dynpro DC, but none of the items I defined (formatter, destination, location) show up in the Log Configurator in the Visual Administrator. I did the same thing for a simple test application (not a DC), and it worked fine. What am I missing that is causing the configuration items not to show up?

(I've already set the ForceSingleTraceFile option to 'NO', although I don't think that has anything to do with my problem)

Hi David,

I wonder what's the difference between DCs and non-DCs.

Because I met the case when I do the configuration in local J2E Engine, I can get the output file ( of course I can read it by Visual Administrator); but if I deploy it on remote J2E Engine, I can not find the output file, even though the configuration between remote and local are the same.

So I guess here maybe You are using a local engine, this makes your DCs' log not work while your non-DCs are ok, my case is just on the opposite.

What do you think? And have you solved your problem?

Forgot to tell, all my objects are non-DCs.
