Hi,
2 questions on the topic:
1st. I have created a transportation zone and a location of the type 1030 (terminal). In Tcode: /SCMTMS/LOC_TRANS (Assign Transshipment location) I try to connect these. That doesn't work: "Enter a valid transshipment location" as error message.
Any ideas?
2nd. is the a specific combination of location types? Some good refference materials on what each type does?
Thanks for any hrelp!
Michael

Dear Michael,
If you have to use any location both as source and destination, then you need to assign it to a transshipment hierarchy. Till SCM 5.0, we used to do this in transaction /SAPAPO/RELHSHOW.
Also please maintain this location as both source and destination in the optimization profile.
Hope this helps.

Hi Ankur.
I have only one hierarchy in TM RELH_ZONE as Transportation Zone Extended Hierarchy.
How can I create transshipment hierarchy ?
What is TCODE in TM/SCM to create transshipment hierarchy?
I tried to use /SAPAPO/RELHSHOW with the folowing entries
Hierarchy Name TRANSSHIP_LOCATIONS
Hierarchy Description TRANSSHIPMENT HIERARARHY
Hier. Structure Name TRANSSHIP_LOCATIONS
Hier. Structure Cat. 4
ObjectType 2
and got an error that Structure TRANSSHIP_LOCATIONS not define.
What should i do next ?
Thank a lot
