Hi all,

1.If an Idoc is enhanced after it is assigined to a mapping program then , is the Idoc has applied changes or not?means,whether the changes will be affected to the idoc or not...

2) Is it possible to edit the .jar files in the IR?

If it is enhansed after assigning to mapping: untill and unless the strucutre is same, it will take the changes...if you add any field or some thing...you need to reimport into IR and also update the IDOC metadata in IDX2 for changes to take place.

You cannot edit jar file in IR.

If the strcutre of the IDOC is changes i mean you haave added few more field extended an IDOC(ZIDOC) the one in IR is old one...you need to Import that IDOC again in IR...but also you need to update the IDOC metadata to IDX2 manually..till you do this changes will not effect in IR.

Hi Keerti,

1. If any changes is made to Idoc after it is assigned to mapping program, then it needs to be re-mported. Changes do not reflect automatically.

2. No we cannot edit .jar files in IR.
