Hi,
Goto T.code of VA01.
Enter the Sales area Data and click on Create with reference.
Click on ORDER tab and in order field give the old sales order number
Click on copy, All the datas will be copied from the previous order
In the Create sales order overview screen give purchase order number and PO date again.
Click on SAVE.

Hi Vinod,
iam not asking how to create a sales order w.r.t another sales order, iam asking how can v copy a sales order data into new sales order.
Eg: we will copy plat, item category, sales doc type from the previous plant, item cat, sale sdoc. like this i want to copy the data from a sales order to new sales order but not w.r.t a sales order.
cheers,
Sumith
hello, friend.
Oh! in that case you execute VOV8. select the document type you want to copy and click the 'copy' icon. in the following screen, overwrite the document type name with your own definition (better if it begins with Z). when you save this document, the system will ask you if you wish to copy the dependent tables. if you say 'yes', your document type will be saved together with many relationships, assignments and dependencies (which will save you time later on).
you still have to check item category, schedule line and subsequent document assignments and copy controls just to be sure.
if you wish to use the new document type with your sold-to party, etc. you must assign your doc type to the relevant sales area, pricing procedure, and other SD related functionalities.
regards.

hello, friend.
if you look into VTAA, the standard SAP settings already include copy controls between OR and OR. this means you can create a sales order OR with reference to another OR. although the standard SAP settings also mean that the item category (e.g. TAN) will not have an entry in completion rule, it is best to re-check it.

Hi,
Goto T.code of VA01.
Enter the data and press the pushbutton of Create with reference.
Enter the previous order No and proceed further.
All the datas will be copied from the previous order.
Provided that u need to maintain the proper settings at *VTAA (OR to OR)
Hope it is useful

hi,
go to VA01, from the application menu select with reference to button and select Order > here give the order number which wanted to replicate exactly. Now all the data of that will be copied into this new order.
this is just as we would create an order from a Quotation.
