Unbale to Login to NWA

HI,

We have Solution Manager 4.0 SP13 installed.

When we try to logon to the http://server:port:NWA the login page is displayed

Enter the Username and password and the system retuns back to the same login page .. no error .. just returns back to eht same NWA login page

If you enter a Username or password that is incorrect an error is return ... login attempt failed.

any ideas?

Hi Clive,

Have you configure the SSO for your ABAP and Java stack?

If yes can you check what algorithm you have selected for ABAP and Java Stack, both should have the same Algorithm like DSA.

You are on the right track .. I was configuring SSO for Sol Man Diags .. both are DSA .. Exported and imported fine.

I guess I have a question at this point .. how does the j2ee engine authenticated with the browser . If I test the Webgui everything is fine. ( without SSO )

However i I go straight to http:/server:port/sld or http://server:port NWA it excepts the user credentials but takes you right back to the login screen ...

If you goto http://server:port and selsct system configiguration all is fine ...

The fix was to re configure sso. Pages 22 to 27 of the Advanced Setup Guide: Solution Manager Diagnostics SAP NetWeaver 04

Apply SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 4.0 Support Package Stack 15 (01/2008).

Then complete the previos step.
